03 · The Story

Basketball can be overwhelming At First

The passes are rushed, the turnovers pile up, and the confidence drops. It doesn't have to stay that way.

Right now

The struggle

  • Only confident with their dominant hand — the other hand feels foreign.
  • Gets stripped or turns it over under any real pressure.
  • Loses control when the game speeds up.
After 4 weeks

The solution

  • Equally comfortable with both hands — no more weak side to exploit.
  • Protects the ball with body and pace so defenders can't reach it.
  • Stays in control in transition and finishes balanced at the rim.

The problem isn't effort. It's never having a plan that actually builds on itself.

What we do about it

10 minutes. 3 days a week. 4 weeks.

That's it. Open the app, press play, and do the workout in the driveway, the garage, or the living room. Every session builds on the last one, so your player always knows what's next and why it matters.

What players feel

The ball starts to feel like it belongs to them. Their head comes up, they stop panicking under pressure, and the game slows down.

What parents notice

The ball goes everywhere they go. Driveway after dinner, dribbling through the kitchen, one more rep before bed. They fall in love with the game.

04 · Meet your coach
Coach at Rising Lion Fitness working on ball handling

Coaching the next generation of confident players.

I'm Josh Meader, founder of Rising Lion Fitness. What started as a few driveway sessions has grown into a basketball training program that now develops players across the world.

Day to day, I run in-person skills training, camps, clinics, leagues, men's leagues, and club teams — coaching players of every age and skill level, from first-time dribblers to college-bound guards.

This program is the same system I teach in the gym, rebuilt for the driveway so any beginner — and any parent — can follow along. Ten minutes at a time, with a plan.
