The ultimate foundational guide for new players to master ball control, build elite hand-eye coordination, and fall in love with the game.
Every drill, session, and milestone lives inside our training app — built so beginners (and the parents helping them) always know exactly what to do next.

A quick behind-the-scenes tour of the app: finding your program, starting a workout, and watching every drill demonstrated in real time.
Every move broken down with multiple angles and slow-mo so kids can mimic the technique exactly.
Open the app, hit play, follow along. Ten focused minutes per session, three days a week — zero planning required.
Drills adapt as your player levels up — from first dribble to game-speed combos.
Streaks, reps, and skill milestones — visible wins that keep kids coming back tomorrow.
Weekly challenges turn practice into a game and reveal exactly what to work on next.
Driveway, garage, gym, hotel room — the whole program lives on your phone.
The passes are rushed, the turnovers pile up, and the confidence drops. It doesn't have to stay that way.
The problem isn't effort. It's never having a plan that actually builds on itself.
That's it. Open the app, press play, and do the workout in the driveway, the garage, or the living room. Every session builds on the last one, so your player always knows what's next and why it matters.
The ball starts to feel like it belongs to them. Their head comes up, they stop panicking under pressure, and the game slows down.
The ball goes everywhere they go. Driveway after dinner, dribbling through the kitchen, one more rep before bed. They fall in love with the game.

I'm Josh Meader, founder of Rising Lion Fitness. What started as a few driveway sessions has grown into a basketball training program that now develops players across the world.
Day to day, I run in-person skills training, camps, clinics, leagues, men's leagues, and club teams — coaching players of every age and skill level, from first-time dribblers to college-bound guards.
This program is the same system I teach in the gym, rebuilt for the driveway so any beginner — and any parent — can follow along. Ten minutes at a time, with a plan.
